I’m Jonathan Thomas Jones, a versatile writer with a background in novels, children’s literature, short stories, film, comics, animation, video games, blogging, and journalism. Gaming has been a lifelong passion, and I’m grateful to have realized my dream of contributing to the industry in recent years.

    Title: Little Bot and the Way Home Year: 2024 Role: Sole Creator Developer: Dreamhome Press Description: Educational point and click adventure game based on the Little Bot children’s book series. Responsibilities: Conceptualized, illustrated, and programmed full game as well as penned educational storyline.

    Title: The Swinkhearts Gameshow Year: 2024 Role: Sole Creator Developer: The Council Collective Description: A game consisting of questions and bonus commands that rewards couples for their teamwork and familiarity. Responsibilities: Wrote, designed, built and produced for social event.

    Title: The Petting Zoo Year: 2024 Role: Sole Creator Developer: Nightmare Games Description: A point and click adventure horror game with a haunting story and satisfying conclusion. Responsibilities: Conceptualized, wrote, illustrated and programmed in Adventure Game Studio for the two-week 2024 Frenzy Phobia game jam.

A Kinky Mystery Year: 2023 Role: Sole Creator Developer: The Council Collective Description: Murder mystery rooted in social interaction, truth and deceit played over a four-course dinner. Responsibilities: Crafted characters, clues, rules and narrative to provide maximum fun and reward.

    Title: The Bridge Troll Year: 2023 Role: Sole Creator Developer: Dreamhome Press Description: Text based choose your own adventure style fantasy game intended for young audiences. Responsibilities: Wrote story with numerous outcomes and put together game in Twine.

    Title: Kidd Kaboom Year: 2020 Role: Sole Creator Developer: Nightmare Games Description: Puzzle/Adventure game in which a living bomb must avoid captors and destroy surroundings. Responsibilities: Conceptualized, illustrated, and programmed full game as well as penned humorous storyline.

    Title: Titan Squad Year: 2017 Role: Narrative Designer Developer: Max Level Media Description: Superhero themed tactics style multiplayer game. Responsibilities: Created character personalities, wrote story and scripted dialogue and combat scenarios for immersive tutorial mode and cutscenes.

Responsibilities: Conceptualized, illustrated, and programmed full game as well as penned humorous storyline.
