The Hip-Hop Nerd 10/10/16: Black Superheroes Matter!


There has been a lot of controversy surrounding the release of the “Luke Cage” series from Marvel and Disney. This is an extremely important issue, so this week I give a brief history of black superheroes and explain why it’s such a big deal to have positive images of black people in media.
